In this energetic role, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, smooth food production, and efficient team management. Your leadership will inspire staff, uphold food safety standards, and maintain a lively, welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your management skills in a fast-paced, casual dining environment while making a positive impact on both customers and team members. Duties Lead and supervise restaurant staff during shifts, ensuring high-quality food preparation, service, and customer interactions Oversee food handling, cooking, and food production processes to maintain safety and quality standards Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and transaction accuracy Control inventory levels through regular stock checks, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste Train new team members on food safety procedures, service standards, and operational protocols Assist with shift scheduling, ensuring adequate staffing levels for busy periods Support kitchen management by supervising food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to health regulations Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure a positive dining experience Collaborate with management on budgeting, food cost control, and overall restaurant performance Promote a team-oriented environment by motivating staff and encouraging professional development Experience Proven supervisory or management experience in quick service or fast food restaurants; casual dining or fine dining experience is highly valued Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for transactions and inventory control Experience in food safety standards and handling procedures within the food industry Demonstrated leadership skills in staff training, development, and team management Knowledge of restaurant operations including shift management, budgeting, and customer service excellence Previous experience with catering or banquet services is a plus Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards Join us as a Restaurant Shift Leader to lead with energy, inspire your team, and deliver memorable dining experiences!
