Please Note:
This is NOT a Kitchen Manager position at this time. This is a fully back of house position, not a cross-trained position within the center. Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Kitchen Lead to supervise and oversee daily kitchen operations in a fast-paced hospitality environment. This pivotal role involves overseeing food production, supervising kitchen staff, ensuring food safety standards, and delivering exceptional food service experiences. As a Kitchen Lead, you will play a key role in maintaining high-quality culinary standards while fostering a positive, efficient work environment that motivates your team to excel. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about culinary arts, management, and delivering outstanding customer experiences. You will be working under the GM of the center with your role expanding after a 90 day period. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all aspects of food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality. Oversee kitchen staff by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, providing direction, and fostering teamwork. Oversee food safety practices in compliance with Oregon health regulations and company policies, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures. Monitor inventory levels, and manage stock to minimize waste while maintaining freshness. Maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment that meets safety standards and promotes efficiency. Experience Proven supervising experience within the food industry or hospitality roles Strong background in Oregon food safety standards, sanitation practices. Ability to motivate and develop team members in a fast-paced setting, including teenagers. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence and team collaboration. $22.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
