We're a busy, family-friendly restaurant known for scratch-made comfort food, genuine hospitality, and a welcoming team atmosphere. We're looking for an experienced Sous Chef / Kitchen Supervisor to lead our evening kitchen operations. This is a leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys developing others, and takes pride in serving consistently great food. Working directly with our Executive Chef, you'll oversee the night shift, support and coach the kitchen team, maintain quality standards, and help ensure every guest has an exceptional dining experience. Responsibilities Lead and supervise the evening kitchen team, including line cooks, prep cooks, and dish staff. Ensure every plate meets Reedville Café's quality and presentation standards. Coordinate kitchen workflow to deliver fast, efficient service. Train, coach, and support team members while promoting a positive work environment. Assist with inventory, ordering, and minimizing food waste. Complete nightly prep, cleaning, and closing procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen. Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in a full-service restaurant kitchen. Previous experience as a Sous Chef, Kitchen Supervisor, Lead Cook, or similar leadership role preferred. Strong experience with grill, sauté, fry, breakfast, and dinner service. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to stay calm and lead during busy service periods. Oregon Food Handler's Card required. Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic. Available evenings, weekends, and holidays.
