Assisting the Plant Manager/Supervisor, including but not limited to the following duties below: Key Responsibilities Participate in Line rotations. Review the line instruction sheet for each project and communicate the run rules to their team before starting a project. Before beginning any project verify that equipment is clean and free of defects. Inspect equipment to ensure it meets the specifications for each project. Set up inspection equipment prior to running a project. Verify the labels and quantities of each pallet. Fill out all documentation required for each project. Safety
  • Ensuring all employees are following FlexXray standards. Seed Checks
  • Assisting Sr. Line Lead with seed checks when necessary. Temperature Monitoring
  • ensuring temperature monitoring is done consistently and correctly, when necessary. Housekeeping and Working Conditions
  • owns the work area, escalates issues, maintains good control of tools/utensils/seeds/etc.
Provide appropriate information to the plant leadership before, during, and after each project. Other duties assigned by the Production Supervisor. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Strong attention to detail. Basic computer skills. Must have excellent communication skills. Ability to view/watch the monitor and positively identify test seeds during routine seed checks. Must have a sense of urgency. Flexibility to work overtime based on business needs. Must have basic math, reading, and writing skills. Must be bilingual English /
Spanish Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to bend, twist, grab, pull, push, reach, walk and sit. Ability to lift up to 40lbs. We use customized processes and state-of-the-art X-ray technology to find foreign material contaminants in food, beverage and lifestyle products. The types of contaminants we're able to find include Metal, Glass Particle, Stone, Bone, Plastic, Rubber Casket Material, Wood, and more.
