Job Requirements A passion for helping seniors A desire to contribute to a positive atmosphere in the community for residents, family friends, and all team members. Ability to communicate effectively in English; both oral and written Ability to work effectively as a team member Ability to work a flexible schedule to be present for department opening and closing as needed Job Responsibilities Responsible for managing and directing the Food Service Department in accordance with current State and local regulations Develop and maintain a menu of high standards with a variety of meals prepared with top quality, nutrition and served attractively as well as cater to special dietary requirements while staying within budgetary guidelines Schedule, train and supervise all kitchen personnel Qualifications High school diploma or GED Requires a minimum of two years' experience in the food service field, with a minimum of two years in a management capacity
