Restaurant Floor Manager oversees front‑of‑house operations during service, supervising servers, hosts, bussers, and bartenders to ensure smooth service flow, guest satisfaction, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Overview:
A Restaurant Floor Manager is responsible for real‑time management of the dining room, acting as the link between the general manager's strategic oversight and the service staff's table‑level execution. Staff Management Conduct pre‑shift briefings (specials, 86'd items, large parties). Train, mentor, and coach FOH employees. Create schedules and manage time‑off requests. Step into FOH roles when needed (server, host, bartender). Customer Service Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve issues promptly. Maintain a customer‑focused environment that encourages repeat business. Operational Oversight Enforce food safety, health, and cleanliness standards. Oversee opening/closing duties and side work completion. Manage POS systems and cash handling. Must have full availability, days/nights/weekends.
