SCHEDULE

: 4:00 AM to 12:00 PM or 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. Weekends Required.

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for setting up and maintaining food production and quality control of food items prepared in the kitchen.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

This list may not include all of the duties assigned) 1. Prepares food items necessary for assigned area 2. Assigns specific duties to associates under supervision for efficient operation of the kitchen 3. Ensures proper storage and handling of products; uses portion, presentation and recipe controls. 4. Maintains cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including food and non-food working areas. 5. Reports equipment repair/maintenance to appropriate supervisor or facility department. 6. Go to each area to make sure that all items are being prepped properly 7. Oversee all rules to ensure safety standards are followed 8. Manage labor daily according to volume, call outs and production adjustments 9. Make sure all packing and cooling procedures are being followed 10. Check to make sure all logs are filled out and collecting at the end of shift 11. Walk through and do post ops check on all rooms and equipment. Communicate to all room leads of issues 12. Communicate daily usage to ordering/ receiving manager for any shorts or out of stock. 13. Send out production recap email 14. Performs other duties as assigned by Food Service Director. The position includes some driving and requires the employee to have a valid drivers license.
