JOB SUMMARY
The Bell & Evans Quality Assurance Team is committed to developing world class programs, processes, and people to support the Bell & Evans Brand and Mission. We are hiring a QA Supervisor that will develop QA technicians by investing time through relevant job training, empowerment, and engagement along with continuously improving our systems and programs. The ideal candidate is a very organized professional with a systematic approach to process and program improvement with the ability to inspire others in fostering a quality culture. 1st Shift Available
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following: Other duties may be assigned. Supervise and manage QA technicians and QA Leads including setting goals, developing processes, and providing guidance and support through their professional journey. Manage people and resources to meet departmental and organizational goals. Ensure accurate and effective training of necessary personnel. Support the facility in ensuring food safety programs and regulatory requirements are met and challenged for continuous improvement. Data utilization to aid in continuous improvement. Oversee implementation of HACCP, SSOP, GMP, pre-requisite programs. Assist in management of food safety and quality requirements. Guide and develop cooperative relationship between plant departments and USDA. Actively analyze situations to make informed dispositions and decisions based on product safety and quality. Instill collaboration among cross-functional plant teams in issue resolution. Professional communication (written / verbal) with internal and external customers Ability to read and interpret documents and regulations.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor s degree or a combination of work experience (3-5 years relevant QA experience) and training. Experience in direct supervision preferred. Ability to communicate to all levels of the organization. Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
