Responsibilities The Senior Director of Dining Services is responsible for food and dining services in an assigned nursing center and supports other nursing centers. This individual plans and supervises activities of the department and provides technical guidance and administrative direction over food planning, menu formulation, and preparation and serving of regular and therapeutic diets.
- Manages the dining process utilizing innovative and creative delivery solutions consistent with financial and regulatory expectations.
- Participates in the interview process and orientation of new food service professionals.
- Responsible for the quality and quantity of food served via menu program, production systems and food specifications and adherence to all sanitary and food safety regulations governing handling and serving of food.
- Investigates trends and developments in dietary practices and techniques, and evaluates their adaptability to dietary program Qualifications
- Certification in accordance with regulatory agencies governing the nursing center.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the spoken English language to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our patients and visitors. Benefits
