The Beverage Supervisor is responsible and accountable for administration, operation, and direct management of the Beverage service. Responsibilities Where You'll Make an
Impact:
Develop and assist in a supervisory capacity with the business plan and budget for the beverage service. Responsible for inventory control and ordering supplies, food and drink necessary to operate beverage service. Developing staff, to include training, interviewing for new hires, assisting with performance management inclusive of disciplinary counseling and conducting performance evaluations. Review staffing levels to maintain budgeted level of employment. Delegate authority and assign duties as necessary. Review departmental status with Manager. Develop, implement, and supervise programs and processes to reduce and control loss time injuries. Meet with departmental directors and managers as necessary. Demonstrates professionalism that reflects our brand and company values. Other duties as assigned. Skills to
Help You Succeed:
Three (3) years' experience in restaurant supervision and/or management, purchasing and inventory control. Requires thorough knowledge of Food and Beverage/Hospitality practices and procedures. Must be Serv-Safe and RAMP certified. Knowledge of sanitation laws and health regulations and applicable OSHA regulations. Required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays. Proven ability to lead a team and communicate efficiently, both verbally and in writing. Must be flexible and adaptable to change. Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as determined by the State Gaming Control Board for the position.
Qualifications Must-Haves:
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to withstand physical demands, such as standing and walking briskly for extended periods of time; pushing, pulling stooping, bending and squatting continuously throughout shift; able to lift and carry 50 pounds, unassisted, for extended periods of time.
Working Conditions:
24/7 high energy casino with over 100,000 sq. ft of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 500 employees Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises. You may occasionally work in an environment where smoking is allowed.
