2nd Shift Opening - 1:00 pm to 9:30 pm
MISSION:
Support the delivery of orders to customers in a cost-effective way that meets or exceeds customer requirements. Maintains inventory accuracy following ERP best practices and keeping System equal to Physical by working real time. Shares department goals, secures warehouse; supervising staff in a regulated chemical goods environment. Maintain a high level of task efficiency as a team to continuously improve performance, cost, and customer satisfaction through on-time and in-full delivery while embedding right first time behaviors in safety and execution.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience:
Working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, Hazmat and location control preferred Warehouse Supervisory experience a plus
Education:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
Skills:
Ability to operate all warehouse equipment on premises 5S or Lean concept knowledge, Working knowledge of computer systems Teambuilding and conflict resolution & Accuracy and thoroughness in performing job duties
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Sets and enforces high standards of accuracy and performance; delegates work to staff and monitors performance; Accomplishes warehouse human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions; adhering to policies and procedures. Maintains personnel time and attendance records for reports including payroll activities and approvals Transacts in and supports others in ERP and other systems. Daily WMS transactions - right first time, timely and accurate; system = physical. Shares responsibility for the inventory accuracy and proper storage of goods in a highly regulated dangerous good environment. Performs daily in a role that best supports department to achieving goals (Picking, Loading, Cycle Counting, Replenishment, etc); ensures orders ship on time and complete; Oversees all warehouse activities in general to ensure workforce is effectively performing tasks safely. Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area; promotes good housekeeping across the warehouse; Keeps equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; requiring preventive maintenance; calling for repairs. Maintains company expectations for Safety, Quality, Service Level, Sustainability, Integrity and Respect in daily activities. Delegates assignments to other warehouse employees as required to best meet department needs May assist other workers in shipping and receiving activities. Maintains storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommending improvements. Works flexible hours and shifts as required Any other duties as required CRC Industries, Inc. facilities receive, blend, and package mixtures of chemicals. The facilities are regulated for the flammable substances onsite and utilize multiple safety features including engineering controls such as fail-safe devices, exhaust and ventilation systems, fire safety systems, automatic shutoff systems, and gas detection systems, as well as administrative controls and personal protective equipment.
