In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient food preparation, and smooth team management. As a key leader on the floor, you will inspire staff, uphold food safety standards, and maintain a lively atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. Duties Lead and supervise restaurant staff during assigned shifts, ensuring all team members deliver outstanding customer service and adhere to operational standards Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining high quality and consistency in every dish served Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling Control inventory levels by monitoring stock, assisting with food ordering, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs Train new team members on food safety, food handling procedures, and restaurant protocols to ensure compliance and excellent service Supervise kitchen operations, including food production, catering, banquet setups, and bar service when applicable Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure guest satisfaction and foster a welcoming environment Assist with shift management tasks such as scheduling, budgeting, and enforcing health & safety regulations Qualifications Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and customer service Demonstrated supervisory or team management experience in hospitality or restaurant settings Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling skills are essential Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Experience in inventory control, food production management, and kitchen operations Strong leadership skills with the ability to train staff effectively and motivate teams to perform at their best Excellent communication skills with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences Previous experience in casual dining or fine dining establishments is highly desirable; barista or hotel experience is a plus Join us as a Restaurant Shift Leader to energize your career in hospitality!
