Whiteland, IN Working Hours:
1 st and 2 nd shift available, Overtime (planned and unplanned), Weekends, Holidays, trainings as required. D&H is growing! Summary Assists Supervisors in directing co-owners in the daily operation of the department. To keep any work that needs to be done flowing through the processes needed to get the work done at an acceptable time. To work next to your peers, as a resource for answering questions and helping to lead them to the correct conclusion and our process. To show true leadership skills. Responsibilities Motivate co-owners to have a positive team spirit and attitude. To be able to answer questions and if not, know where to get the answers Must be able to use the computer system, WMS, including RF equipment. Operate in a safe, neat and orderly manner. Maintain good attendance and dependability. Ability to communicate with supervisors and co-owners effectively. Ability to complete assignments within established timelines. Ability to complete work with little supervision. Keeps work area neat, clean and hazard free. Must work in other areas, as needed for cross training and/or workload. Other related duties as assigned. Be able to sit with upper management and work with new ideas and come up with some new possible ideas for your area of responsibilities. Other related duties as assigned. Requirements To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Strong organizational and research skills. Must be willing to work overtime as needed and be flexible with schedule. Ability to read, write, and speak English, bi-lingual is a plus. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. High school diploma or equivalent. Warehouse or Distribution Center. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and computerized scanner equipment. Customer Relations. Knowledge of WMS, and RF equipment.
