A Restaurant or Food Service Supervisor supervises food preparation and staff for a restaurant or dining hall. Manages budget for food supplies, equipment and staff; hires and trains staff; monitors food safety procedures. May plan menus or work with chefs or dieticians to plan menus. Works in a school, hospital, nursing home or other institution.

Summary Assists Supervisors in directing co-owners in the daily operation of the department. To keep any work that needs to be done flowing through the processes needed to get the work done at an acceptable time. To work next to your peers, as a resource for answering questions and helping to lead them to the correct conclusion and our process. To show true leadership skills. Responsibilities Motivate co-owners to have a positive team spirit and attitude. To be able to answer questions and if not, know where to get the answers Must be able to use the computer system, WMS, including RF equipment. Operate in a safe, neat and orderly manner. Maintain good attendance and dependability. Ability to communicate with supervisors and co-owners effectively. Ability to complete assignments within established timelines. Ability to complete work with little supervision. Keeps work area neat, clean and hazard free. Must work in other areas, as needed for cross training and/or workload. Other related duties as assigned. Be able to sit with upper management and work with new ideas and come up with some new possible ideas for your area of responsibilities.
