In this role you will:
- Understands and models our Company's Basic Beliefs and Our Commitment to Each Other
- Use team scorecard and other Operational Excellence documents to identify and track team gaps.
- Plan, execute, and track activities to eliminate gaps and develop team capabilities
- Provide feedback regularly to team members on performance
- Holds team accountable for team results
- Provides back up/coverage support for team members
- Can safely operate, clean and maintain all equipment in the production area
- Perform all CIL activities in the production area
- Safely and reliably handle minor stops, quality issues, breakdowns and routine maintenance activities
- Must be willing to train as a First Responder for plant and use training as needed
- Attend production and maintenance scheduling meetings, provide input and function as point of contact for production schedule deviations
- Able to work outside normally scheduled hours as needed for shift overlap, maintenance, etc.
- Able to meet all essential functions associated with pay level
- Flow to the work as necessary to meet department and plant needs
- Can function within all Operational Excellence principles

- Must be at least 18 years of age with a minimum of a High School diploma or GED Experience
- Previous work experience in a food manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred Other
- Have good attendance record and able to comply with attendance policy
- Demonstrated background of mechanical aptitude
- Must be able to work on an 8-hour shift on a 7-day schedule per week
- Able to work with and around cleaning chemicals and perform all sanitation duties
- Able to operate, perform "basic and routine maintenance," and troubleshoot equipment which includes the following physical activities: climbing, standing, bending, twisting, and moving around stairs, ladders, platforms and various packaging and processing equipment
- Able to lift objects up to 50 pounds frequently
- Must be a self-directed worker, capable of working in a team environment to solve problems and implement solutions
- Must be able to effectively read, comprehend, interpret, record, and apply information from documents (i.e. equipment manuals, SOP's, policies, etc.)
