Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Temporary Food Service Director to lead and oversee all aspects of food service operations within our facility. This role is vital in ensuring exceptional customer experiences, maintaining high standards of food safety, and managing daily restaurant activities efficiently. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and a comprehensive understanding of food industry best practices. This temporary position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a vibrant team while honing your management expertise in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Supervise daily food service operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure quality standards are met consistently. Oversee inventory control procedures, including stock replenishment, waste reduction, and food management to optimize profitability. Train and develop staff on food safety protocols, customer service excellence, and operational procedures to foster a high-performing team. Lead shift management activities, including scheduling, supervising team members, and ensuring smooth restaurant flow during busy hours. Conduct staff interviews, onboarding, and performance evaluations to build a motivated and competent hospitality team. Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and maintain rigorous standards for food handling and sanitation. Foster a welcoming environment that emphasizes hospitality, teamwork, and exceptional customer service at all times. Experience Extensive background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management with a focus on quality control. Demonstrated ability to supervise teams effectively while maintaining high standards of customer service. Familiarity with food safety management practices and regulatory compliance requirements. Experience managing budgets, performing cost analysis, and conducting profit & loss reviews to support business growth. Hold a serv safe manager certification. Pay:
$60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
