Job Overview Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and managing fast-paced restaurant operations? As a Restaurant Shift Leader, you will be the driving force behind smooth daily restaurant functions, ensuring team members are motivated, customers are satisfied, and operational standards are exceeded. You will oversee shift activities, uphold food safety standards, and foster a positive team atmosphere that promotes growth and excellence. Duties Supervise daily restaurant operations during your shift, ensuring efficient food preparation, service, and cleanliness. Lead and motivate team members by providing clear direction, training, and support to uphold high standards of customer service. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing, cash handling, and transaction reconciliation. Oversee inventory control processes to ensure proper stock levels, minimize waste, and manage food safety protocols. Coordinate food production and kitchen activities to ensure timely delivery of quality meals in both quick service and fine dining settings. Conduct staff training sessions on food handling, safety procedures, and service techniques to develop a skilled team. Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to maintain a positive dining experience and uphold the restaurant's reputation. Qualifications Proven experience in food service management or restaurant supervision within quick service, casual dining, or fine dining environments. Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management practices. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in staff training, team management, interviewing, and developing employees. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally. Experience with inventory control, budgeting, food safety standards, and food handling procedures.
