Job Description

TRC Talent is looking for a Shift Leader for a client of ours in Fountain Inn, SC!
Job Summary:
As a Shift Leader, you will play a critical role in ensuring operational excellence and quality performance while leading a team of Quality Inspectors. You'll work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where safety, attention to detail, customer satisfaction, and team development are essential. This is a great opportunity for someone with leadership experience who enjoys coaching employees, maintaining quality standards, and driving operational success.

Pay:
$17.40/hr($2.00 night shift premium) Temp to Hire Great OT Opportunity!
Key Responsibilities:
Train and empower a team of Quality Inspectors to ensure productivity and adherence to quality standards Verify inspectors have the necessary tools, equipment, and supplies for each work order Conduct multiple quality validations per inspector throughout the shift Perform accurate data entry, reporting, and timekeeping functions Complete pass-down reports and provide customer quality reports at the end of each shift Communicate important information regarding safety, PPE compliance, scheduling, sign-in/out procedures, and break periods Enforce all customer PPE and safety requirements Monitor employee performance, provide coaching and feedback, and recognize achievements Maintain open communication with leadership and promptly escalate customer concerns Identify employees with growth potential and support career development opportunities Track attendance, address performance concerns, and provide guidance as needed Promote a culture of integrity, accountability, continuous improvement, and employee engagement
Qualifications:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure Customer-service focused with strong problem-solving skills Flexible schedule and ability to support multiple locations Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and current vehicle insurance Ability to travel within the operating region Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift Required to wear PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, work boots, gloves, and hard hats Why choose TRC Talent Solutions?
