About the Role The Dietary Manager oversees dining services to ensure residents receive safe, nutritious, and appealing meals in accordance with dietary needs and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily food service operations, including meal preparation, service, and sanitation. Ensure menus and meal service meet nutritional guidelines and physician-ordered diets. Maintain compliance with health department, safety, and infection control requirements. Train, schedule, and support dining services staff to ensure quality and consistency. Coordinate special meals and events in collaboration with other departments. Qualifications & Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent; formal training in culinary arts, nutrition, or food service management preferred. Experience in senior living, healthcare dining, or volume food service. Knowledge of safe food handling, sanitation, and dietary needs of older adults. Ability to lead, train, and communicate effectively with staff. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
