Overview We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Restaurant Shift Leader to oversee daily front-of-house operations in our vibrant restaurant. This role involves leading the FOH team to deliver exceptional guest experiences, managing opening and closing procedures, and ensuring smooth service throughout each shift. The Shift Leader will also actively participate in serving and bartending duties, creating a welcoming environment for both guests and staff. Responsibilities Open and close the register at the beginning and end of each shift, ensuring accuracy and accountability. Guide and support the FOH team during service, including coordinating tasks and maintaining high standards of guest service. Create a positive work environment by fostering teamwork, communication, and motivation among staff members. Assist in serving tables and bartending as needed, providing friendly and efficient service to guests. Help create a memorable guest experience by addressing customer needs promptly and professionally. Handle customer complaints with professionalism, aiming to resolve issues effectively while maintaining guest satisfaction. Oversee daily operational tasks such as ensuring cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety standards. Support training new team members and uphold restaurant policies and procedures. Skills Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and guide a team effectively. Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with guests and staff. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience in serving or bartending is preferred, with a willingness to participate in these duties as needed. Problem-solving skills with a calm approach to handling customer concerns or operational challenges. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Knowledge of POS systems and basic cash handling procedures is advantageous. Pay:
