This is a leadership role focused on helping team members succeed through effective training, coaching, accountability, and food-safety standards. The right person should be comfortable teaching others, giving feedback, following up on expectations, and helping develop future leaders. Key Responsibilities Lead new-hire onboarding and orientation Help create and maintain position-specific training plans Conduct skill checkoffs and training follow-ups Support Rookie Pro All-Pro development Help develop Trainers, LITs, and future Captains Coordinate cross-training between departments Identify team members who need additional coaching or retraining Ensure training materials and procedures are current and consistently followed Track required certifications and training completion Maintain accurate training records and documentation Conduct regular training and standards audits Partner with department Captains to identify performance and development needs Food Safety Responsibilities Reinforce Allstar food-safety standards Monitor Food Handler certification compliance Train team members on proper handwashing, glove use, sanitation, food handling, storage, and contamination prevention Conduct food-safety checks and follow up when standards are missed Help ensure team members understand not only what the standard is, but why it matters Work with Kitchen Operations leadership to maintain consistent food-safety practices What Leadership Looks Like in This Role The Training & Development Captain should not simply complete training paperwork. This person should be visible, engaged, and actively developing the team.

Compensation $9.25-$10.25 per hour , based on experience, leadership ability, training skills, and performance.
