Job Description

Staff Training and Management:
Assist in training new employees and provide ongoing training for existing staff to ensure high service standards. Come in early to prepare for the day, ensuring everything is ready before the General Manager arrives. Delegate tasks effectively and ensure all staff members are knowledgeable about the menu, including food allergies and special dietary needs.
Operational Oversight:
Oversee front-of-house operations, including wait staff and bussing staff, to ensure seamless service. Provide exceptional customer service and lead staff in delivering a positive dining experience. Monitor dining room activities and ensure that service is prompt and attentive.
Customer Relations:
Respond to customer complaints swiftly and resolve them effectively to maintain satisfaction. Develop and implement strategies for improving the overall dining experience for guests. Foster a welcoming atmosphere for guests, ensuring they feel valued and cared for.
Inventory and Cleanliness:
Maintain inventory of all needed supplies, ensuring that the restaurant is well-stocked for service. Uphold restaurant cleanliness and hygiene standards, conducting regular checks to ensure compliance. Work collaboratively with the kitchen and management teams to maintain a well-functioning operation.
Administrative Duties:
Assist in scheduling staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours. Participate in regular staff meetings to communicate updates and address any operational issues. Support the Restaurant Manager in other administrative tasks as required.
