Job Description

Position Summary The Food & Beverage Director is responsible for the leadership, management, and overall success of all food, beverage, and pool service operations at Galveston Country Club. This individual will oversee daily dining operations, banquet and private event services, bar operations, staff development, member satisfaction, budgeting, financial performance, and service standards. The successful candidate will be a visible and engaged leader who is passionate about hospitality, team development, and creating exceptional member experiences. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Direct and oversee all front-of-house food and beverage operations. Ensure exceptional service standards are consistently delivered. Foster a culture of hospitality and personalized member service. Develop and manage annual operating budgets. Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate staff. Oversee execution of member events, tournaments, weddings, and private functions. Ensure compliance with all health, alcohol, and safety regulations.
Qualifications Required:
Minimum 3+ years of progressive food and beverage management experience. Strong financial acumen and budget management experience. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Preferred:
Private club experience strongly preferred. CMAA involvement and/or pursuit of CCM designation preferred. Hospitality or Business degree preferred.
Pay:
$85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
