Job Description

Job Summary This position oversees the daily food and beverage operations of the golf facility, including restaurant, snack bar, beverage cart, and banquet services. Supervises staff, ensures high standards of customer service, food quality, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance, and supports tournaments, events, and other revenue-generating activities. Assists with budgeting, inventory management, sales reconciliation, marketing efforts, and coordination with golf operations staff to deliver a safe and exceptional guest experience. Essential Job Functions This information is intended to be descriptive of the key responsibilities of the position. The following examples do not identify all duties performed by any single incumbent. This position has responsibilities that require lifting up to 10 pounds on occasion. Supervise daily operations of the clubhouse restaurant, snack bar, beverage carts, and banquet services. Lead, train, schedule, and evaluate food and beverage staff. Ensure excellent customer service for golfers, members, and guests. Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and cleanliness standards. Coordinate food and beverage operations during tournaments, outings, and special events. Maintain proper inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies and products. Ensure compliance with health, sanitation, and TABC regulations. Handle guest concerns and resolve issues professionally and promptly. Assist with cash handling, point-of-sale systems, and daily sales reconciliation. Coordinate with golf operations staff to support overall guest experience. Monitor labor costs and assist with operational budgeting. Ensure opening and closing procedures are completed accurately. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Assist with marketing and promotion of food and beverage specials and events. Regular, reliable, and punctual attendance is required. All other duties as assigned by a supervisor/manager within your department/division. Minimum Qualifications Any combination equivalent to experience and training that would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may qualify. A typical way to obtain the knowledge, skills and abilities would be:
Education :
High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience :
At least two (2) years of experience in food and beverage operations. Experience in a golf course, country club, resort, restaurant, or hospitality environment preferred.
Licenses :
Valid Driver's License required. Ability to obtain and maintain TABC and Food Handler certifications if required by assignment.
