Team Lead

Job Summary Team Lead is responsible for supervising daily gym operations, supporting fitness staff, delivering excellent customer service, and helping members achieve their fitness goals. This role combines leadership, operational support, and hands-on involvement in maintaining a positive and safe gym environment. Key Responsibilities Lead and support front desk staff, trainers, and gym attendants during shifts Ensure excellent customer service and member satisfaction Assist with scheduling staff shifts and daily assignments Monitor gym cleanliness, equipment condition, and safety standards Help onboard and train new employees Resolve member concerns or complaints professionally Support membership sales, renewals, and promotions Ensure compliance with gym policies and health regulations Track daily operations and report issues to management Motivate team members to meet performance and service goals Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in fitness, hospitality, or customer service preferred Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus Strong communication and problem-solving skills Basic knowledge of fitness equipment and gym operations Skills Leadership and teamwork Customer service Time management Conflict resolution Organizational skills Attention to detail Work Environment Fast-paced fitness environment Standing for long periods May require evenings, weekends, and holidays Ability to lift or move light equipment if needed
