Responsible for planning regular and modified diets for all patients as prescribed by the medical staff. Routinely visit patients and counseling patients regarding their nutritional needs. Participate in hospital, patient, and community education and outpatient programs. Assist with the maintenance of the department's Quality Assessment and Quality Improvement plan. Utilize standardized practices and materials in accordance with PAM Health policies and procedures. Must be registered, licensed or certified according to the guidelines of the state in which the hospital resided. Must possess a B.S. degree in Food/Nutrition, General Dietetics or Institutional Management. 3 years of experience in a clinical setting with supervisory experience preferred. Rehabilitation experience a plus.
