Responsibilities Prepare a variety of food items with attention to quality, presentation, and safety standards. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items. Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities. Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering duties. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by properly handling food, bussing tables, and cleaning work areas regularly. Support food safety protocols by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation guidelines. Assist in food prep, stocking supplies, and managing quick service or fast food restaurant operations. Contribute to a positive team environment through effective communication, time management, and collaboration. Experience Previous experience in food preparation or food service roles within quick service or fast food restaurants is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to handle cashiering duties, including cash handling and basic math skills. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Experience working in a restaurant, café, retail grocery store or similar environment is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently. Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
