  • Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Leader to join our dynamic team.
The Shift Leader will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and leading staff to maintain high standards of food safety and hospitality. This position requires strong leadership skills and a passion for the food industry, particularly in fine dining or quick service environments. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members during shifts to ensure smooth operations. Maintain high standards of food safety and handling practices in accordance with health regulations. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Train, develop, and mentor staff to enhance their skills and performance. Conduct interviews for potential new hires, ensuring alignment with company values. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Enforce company policies and procedures while fostering a positive work environment. Assist in the preparation of reports on sales, labor costs, and other operational metrics. Requirements Proven experience in a leadership role within the food service industry, preferably in fine dining or quick service fast food restaurants. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality management. Ability to supervise effectively and motivate team members to achieve their best performance. Experience in training development to facilitate staff growth and improvement. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and team members alike. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
