You'll handle walk-in grooming services, support our self-serve dog wash stations, and keep the shop running smoothly for both pets and their owners. This is a hands-on role for someone who genuinely loves animals and wants to grow with a small business that is invested in its team and continued growth. Duties Perform nail trims, nail dremel/grinding, gland expression, and basic baths for walk-in clients Assist customers using our self-serve dog wash stations Answer phones and manage daily scheduling/bookings Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop and wash area, including equipment care and supply management Monitor dogs during services to keep them calm and comfortable Communicate with pet owners about their dog's needs and provide excellent customer service Help train new team members on grooming basics and shop procedures as the team grows
Experience Required:
hands-on experience with dog grooming basics (nail trims, dremel, gland expression, baths) Comfortable handling phones, scheduling, and front-of-house responsibilities Strong customer service skills and clear, professional communication with clients Reliable, able to work independently, and takes ownership in a fast-paced environment 30-40 hours/week, one weekend day required
Pay:
$16-18/hour + tips to start, with a performance review at 90 days
