Job Description

We are currently seeking an Operations Shift Lead 3rd shift (10PM to 6AM) to join the Compartmented Enterprise Services Office (CESO) effort. This program is establishing a modern secure web service (SWS) operation as part of a state-of-the-art, highly automated platform capable of supporting a rapidly expanding customer population. Apply today to become part of the Leidos team that is assisting CESO as they migrate to a high security cloud environment by leading day to day operations activities and incident response for assigned shift. This position is based in Arlington, VA and is 100% on-site. Primary Responsibilities Lead and coordinate operations tasks during assigned shifts. Oversee Monitoring of network, servers, applications, and infrastructure for outages and performance issues. Own incident triage, escalation, and resolution through closure. Coordinate with network, systems, security, application, and vendor teams. Ensure adherence to SLAs, escalation procedures, and operational runbooks. Review alerts and incidents for trends, recurring problems, and potential improvements. Conduct shift handovers and maintain accurate operational documentation. Mentor and provide technical guidance during complex incidents. Prepare incident reports, shift summaries, and operational metrics. Participate in major incident management and post-incident reviews. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of overall related experience with a Windows or Linux server environment. Additional experience, education and training may be considered in lieu of degree An active TS/SCI security clearance is required for this position. Currently possess DoD 8750 certification at least IAT level II, e.g Security+ce. Candidate may be asked to obtain CI Poly in future Comfortable working 24×7 shifts , including nights, weekends, and holidays. Previous experience leading an operations team or acting as a senior escalation point. Excellent communication and incident coordination skills. Strong decision-making under pressure. Must be able to make independent risk based decisions while leading a small team during outages. Experience with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Splunk, or equivalent Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills. Working knowledge of ITIL processes, particularly Incident, Problem, and Change Management. Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Jira, or similar. Strong understanding of DNS, DHCP, VPNs, routing, switching Familiarity with Windows/Linux infrastructure and cloud environments. Hands on experience in IT Cybersecurity, Network Operations, or Windows Server administration. Preferred Qualifications Prior experienced with DISA and DISA's support to mission partners TS/SCI w/CI Poly Preferred Previous shift-lead or team-lead experience in a DoD, military, or cleared NOC/SOC environment Experience refining shift SOPs, playbooks, or escalation procedures based on operational trends If you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling. Pay Range:
Pay Range $73,450.00 - $132,775.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
