Army Navy Country Club is a prestigious private, member-owned institution with a history dating back to 1924. Spanning 488 acres across two campuses located in Arlington and Fairfax, Virginia. As an Outside Service Supervisor, you will lead and mentor our outside services team, ensuring that every interaction reflects our commitment to professionalism, hospitality, and 5 Star Service. Your leadership will directly impact the quality, efficiency, and consistency of our golf operations.

Job Summary:

The Outside Service Supervisor oversees all aspects of outdoor golf operations, ensuring the highest standards in service, facility presentation, and staff performance. This role is a set Schedule 5 days a week (Thursday -Monday) from 12pm until Closing Time. This role is responsible for supervising, training, and supporting the Outside Service Attendants while ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience for members and guests. Always Uphold and model the Club s mission statement and 5 Star Service, ensuring that all team members consistently deliver platinum service and maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment.

Job Duties:

• Lead, mentor, and supervise the outside service team to ensure excellence in member service and operational efficiency.
• Foster a professional, friendly, and welcoming environment for members, guests, and staff.
• Maintain a polished and professional appearance at all times, including proper uniform attire and name badge.
• Oversee the setup of bag drops, staging areas, and practice facilities, ensuring readiness and adherence to established standards.
• Ensure the ANCC Golf facilities are consistently maintained and kept in immaculate condition.
• Coordinate daily work schedules and assignments with the Starter to optimize staff allocation and task completion.
• Monitor radio communications to maintain coordination between the Golf Shop, Starter, and outside service staff.
• Conduct regular training and performance feedback to develop team members skills and service standards.
• Promote all Club activities and services to members and guests, acting as a knowledgeable point of contact.
• Assist in the golf shop and provide support for other golf operations as needed.
• Enforce safety procedures and ensure all staff operate in a safe manner, minimizing risk of injury or property damage.

Qualifications Standards:

• Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven experience in customer service, hospitality, or supervisory roles.
• Motivated, dependable, and able to lead a team effectively.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Physical Demands:

• Frequently required to sit and/or stand for extended periods, and walk across the golf course and facilities.
• Regularly lift/move up to 50 lbs unassisted.
• Required to reach, bend, and use hands and fingers regularly.
• Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
