Job Description
Banquet Team Lead Position Description The Banquet Team Lead works hand in hand with the Event Operations Manager and Supervisor for operational planning, oversight and execution of all aspects for banquet and event functions, as well as monitor, develop and lead a banquet team in a fun and positive environment. This position ensures that all food and beverage services for functions in the banquet department of The Virginian Hotel are served on time and that every one of The Virginian's professional standards are upheld. Responsibilities
- Supervise banquet team and the efficiency/success of each banquet that is assigned by the Event Operations Manager or Supervisor
- Perform all Banquet side work as designated by the Event Operations Manager or Supervisor, while delegating and assigning side work to banquet team members
- Efficiently and properly perform all service standards.
- Attend to all needs of the guests during functions.
- Report to the Event Operations Manager any need for housekeeping and/or repairs of any banquet equipment and facilities.
- Assist in the upkeep and organization of all banquet areas. Qualifications & Requirements
