We are looking for a Shift Manager who can lead from the floor, support the team, and take ownership of their shift from start to finish. Role Overview The Shift Manager is the on-site leader responsible for the successful execution of daily operations during their shift. This role serves as the primary decision-maker on duty and is accountable for team performance, food quality, guest experience, and operational standards. This is not a passive role — you are expected to lead, make decisions, and take full ownership of what happens during your shift. What You'll Do Lead the Shift Run shifts from open to close Assign stations and manage team flow Stay present on the floor and support operations in real time Ensure smooth transitions between shifts Lead the Team Coach and support team members throughout the shift Set expectations and hold the team accountable Address issues immediately and professionally Build a positive, high-performance culture Own the Guest Experience Monitor service flow and wait times Resolve guest issues quickly and professionally Ensure a consistent, high-quality experience Maintain Food Quality & Standards Ensure recipes, portions, and presentation are followed Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards Address quality issues immediately Operational Oversight Monitor labor and staffing needs Ensure the kitchen and front are fully stocked Identify and act on operational issues Manage cash handling and transactions during shift Communicate & Close the Loop Complete shift notes and handoffs Communicate clearly with leadership Leave the restaurant set up for the next shift What We're Looking For 1-2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role Experience working in fast-paced environments (restaurant preferred) Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills Ability to lead a team and maintain accountability Clear communication and leadership presence Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred Physical & Work Requirements Ability to stand and move for extended periods of time Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs as needed Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with varying temperatures Availability to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays How We Work Shift Managers at
