We are looking for a reliable, motivated, and customer-focused Part-Time Shift Leader to join our team and help ensure smooth daily operations. Job Summary The Part-Time Shift Leader is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations during assigned shifts, supporting team members, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring company standards are maintained. The ideal candidate is a confident leader who can make decisions, communicate effectively, and help create a positive experience for both customers and employees. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations during assigned shifts. Lead, support, and communicate effectively with bartenders, servers, and kitchen staff. Ensure excellent customer service and address customer concerns professionally. Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cleaning and securing the facility. Monitor cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of the restaurant and bar. Ensure staff follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards. Assist with managing customer flow, pool table rentals, leagues, tournaments, and special events as needed. Monitor inventory and communicate supply needs to management. Help ensure accurate cash handling and proper use of the POS system. Ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with applicable Virginia ABC regulations. Communicate shift updates, staffing concerns, and operational issues to management. Lead by example by maintaining a professional attitude and strong work ethic. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant, bar, hospitality, or customer service environment. Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions. Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Must be at least 21 years old. Ability to obtain or maintain any required alcohol service training or certifications. Must be able to work effectively as part of a team.
