Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Stand Manager to lead our team at bustling event venues, food festivals, or retail pop-up locations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations at the stand, ensuring smooth food service, exceptional customer experiences, and efficient team management. Your leadership will drive the success of our food offerings while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and hospitality. This paid position offers a dynamic environment where your culinary skills, management expertise, and passion for hospitality will shine. Responsibilities Supervise daily stand operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure quality standards are met consistently. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling. Oversee inventory control to maintain optimal stock levels, reduce waste, and ensure timely replenishment of supplies. Train and develop staff on food safety protocols, customer service excellence, and operational procedures. Lead shift management by coordinating team schedules, delegating tasks efficiently, and ensuring smooth workflow during busy periods. Enforce food safety standards and proper handling techniques in compliance with health regulations. Conduct regular team meetings to foster a positive work environment focused on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. Skills Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation and cooking. Skilled in operating POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; proficient in cash handling and basic math calculations. Demonstrated ability to manage inventory control, food safety management, and budget oversight. Experience supervising hospitality teams with a focus on staff training, development, and performance management. Strong leadership skills with excellent communication abilities for managing teams and interacting with customers. Knowledge of food industry standards including culinary techniques, food production, catering operations, and fine dining or casual dining experience. Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining a lively and positive attitude in a fast-paced setting.
