Job Description
Washington WhirlyballWeekend Shift Lead425-672-333223401 HWY 99, Edmonds, WAWhirlyball is currently seeking a weekend shift lead available to work Thursday-Saturday or Friday-Sunday. Must be 21 years of age or older, and have their own transportation. Starting hourly rate is $25 per hour with adjustments to be made after 30 days of employment. While hours for this position vary, it is generally 20-30 hours per week.
RequirementsProfessional or academic references.
Willingness to learn and take on responsibilities.
Good social skills and likes working with the public.
Works well with others.
Class 12 MAST permit and Washington State Food Handlers permit, or the ability to obtain these.
Availability to work long or short shifts as needed. Whirlyball is open only by reservation, so open hours for the day can vary greatly.
Drivers license and transportation to pick up birthday cakes.
ResponsibilitiesFood preparation and service in a timely manner. Keeping reservations running on time and transitioning smoothly between bookings.
Taking reservations over the phone and checking that future reservations have complete orders, check in with customers for any changes.
Ability to referee games and cover other positions in order to give breaks to employees.
Making any needed changes to the schedule as new reservations are taken for the weekend.
Opening and closing the business on your work days, including cash drawer, food preparation if needed, and ensuring that the center is clean and tidy.
