$18.50-$20.00/hour DOE Position Summary Granite Falls IGA is seeking a dependable, motivated, and customer-focused Co-Deli Night Lead to help oversee evening deli operations. This position will be responsible for being the main person in charge three evenings a week, and will be a support to our current Deli lead the other two. Main duties will include ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining food safety standards, managing and assigning production tasks, and helping keep the department clean, organized, and fully stocked. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can work both independently and as part of a team, solve problems, and maintain high standards while supporting team members and creating a positive shopping experience for our customers. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise deli team members during evening shifts. Ensure exceptional customer service and address customer concerns professionally. Coordinate food production to maintain product availability and freshness. Monitor food safety, sanitation, and quality standards in accordance with company policies and health regulations. Complete nightly cleaning, closing, and preparation procedures. Assist with training and coaching deli staff. Maintain department organization, merchandising, and presentation standards. Monitor inventory levels and communicate product needs to management. Ensure all equipment is operated safely and properly maintained. Support overall store operations as needed. Communicate with Deli Manager any issues that may arrise Qualifications Previous deli, food service, grocery, or kitchen experience required Prior leadership or supervisory experience is preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
