Serve with Excellence. Grow with Us. Ruby Hospitality is a well-established hospitality company in the Spokane area, operating a collection of successful restaurants, hotels, and event venues. We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Supervisor who is passionate about hospitality, enjoys developing teams, and thrives in a fast-paced environment to join the Steam Plant Restaurant Team. This is a working supervisor position. In addition to supervising daily operations, this role will regularly assist on the restaurant floor and may work serving shifts as business needs require. Serving shifts are eligible to participate in the restaurant's tip pool or retain tips in accordance with company policy and applicable state and federal laws. What You'll Do Supervise and support front-of-house operations during assigned shifts. Lead, coach, and motivate team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Work alongside the team by assisting with service during busy periods. Work scheduled serving shifts when needed to support business operations. Ensure smooth daily operations by monitoring staffing levels, guest flow, and service quality. Address guest concerns professionally and resolve issues promptly. Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and end-of-day reconciliation. Monitor employee performance and provide coaching and constructive feedback. Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, sanitation requirements, and liquor laws. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation throughout the restaurant. Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new team members. Partner with management to achieve operational and financial goals. Qualifications Previous restaurant supervisory or leadership experience preferred. Previous serving experience strongly preferred. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Experience with POS systems and cash handling. Knowledge of food safety and responsible alcohol service. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds. What We Offer Competitive hourly wage based on experience. Employee discounts.
