Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Night Shift Supervisor to oversee packing operations and lead our night shift team. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader who promotes safety, teamwork, and productivity ensuring Company standards, procedures and policies are met.
Qualifications & Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate packing line activities to ensure timely and accurate completion of production goals.
- Train, supervise, coach, and evaluate packing line employees.
- Monitor packing line efficiency and implement improvements to maximize productivity.
- Ensure product grades and quality meet customer and sales specifications.
- Monitor fruit flow to maximize production while maintaining grade standards.
- Enforce all Food Safety, Safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) policies.
- Monitor employee attendance, assign work, and manage employee performance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Comply with all company safety policies, including the proper use of required personal protective equipment (PPE), such as safety glasses, face shields, bump caps, gloves, and reflective safety vests.
- Promote a positive, respectful, and safety-focused workplace.
- Demonstrate strong leadership, professionalism, and work ethics.
- Be willing to cross-train in other job functions.
- Perform quality checks on packed boxes throughout production.
- Communicate effectively with CMI regarding production and quality requirements.
- Provide guidance, direction, and support to team members.
- Prepare daily production and labor reports.
- Conduct new employee orientations and participate in the hiring process for the night shift.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and perform well under pressure.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Reliable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Available to work up to 7 days per week and up to 12 hours per day, as needed.
