Supervise a work group to assure production of products/services meets daily production schedules. 2. Ensure company safety policy is followed. 3. Ensure proper sanitation procedures are followed and that all employees follow Good Manufacturing Practices. 4. Ensure communication of objectives, programs, policies and that team members are familiar with their authority, responsibilities, and objectives. 5. Ensure achievement of objectives relating to personnel management, personnel safety, product quality, productivity, yield, and scheduling. 6. Oversee training of new employees in proper performance of line tasks. 7. Complete production reports and payroll responsibilities as required. 8. Through leadership, training and effective role modeling, personally ensure that all team members understand and use the Employee Handbook and follow all policies and procedures. Minimum Qualifications
- Discipline, responsibility, and motivation
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A pattern of initiative and leadership Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in related field, lead experience, and/or equivalent work experience Employees with less than eighteen (18) months in their current position are required to gain approval from their current business unit vice president or plant manager to be considered a qualified candidate.
