Job Description Ready to make a lasting impact in our community? The La Crosse Area Family YMCA is seeking a passionate and innovative leader to help address nutrition and food insecurity through meaningful programs, strong community partnerships, and mission-driven leadership. As the full-time Food Access Director, you will play a key role in ensuring individuals and families throughout our community have access to healthy food and resources.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership for YMCA Food Access Programs, including: Mobile Market Food Pantry USDA Reimbursed Food Programs Community Outreach Meal Programs Build and sustain partnerships with community organizations and stakeholders. Oversee program operations, staff leadership, budgeting, and food service activities. Collaborate with YMCA Community Outreach teams, including Community Health Workers, School Age Care, Youth Center, Mental Health, and Early Childhood programs. Identify opportunities to expand services and increase community impact. Requirements 2+ years of related experience Passion for addressing nutrition and food insecurity Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills Food program management experience preferred Leadership/supervisory, Program development, Community relations and partnership-building experience a plus Applications and resumes must be submitted by August 3, 2026.
