Shift Lead

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Leader to join our team. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our establishment, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a positive work environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, culinary knowledge, and experience in food service management.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise a team of employees during assigned shifts
• Ensure smooth operation of all areas
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and resolving issues
• Train new employees on company policies, procedures, and standards
• Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency
• Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards
• Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
• Collaborate with the Assistant Manager to achieve business goals and targets

Skills:

• Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• Culinary knowledge and experience in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience in an Assistant Manager or Shift Leader role preferred
• Proficient in cash handling procedures and POS system
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and ability to enforce them
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers and employees
