Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Kitchen Supervisor to lead our culinary team and ensure the smooth operation of our food service environment. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily kitchen activities, manage food production and preparation, uphold food safety standards, and deliver exceptional dining experiences. Your leadership will inspire teamwork, maintain high-quality food standards, and foster a welcoming atmosphere for both staff and guests. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise while managing a dynamic kitchen operation. Responsibilities Supervise daily food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality across all dishes. Manage kitchen staff by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, providing training, and fostering a positive team environment. Oversee food safety protocols, sanitation procedures, and compliance with health regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure timely service and optimal customer satisfaction. Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food storage to minimize waste and control costs. Implement operational procedures for shift management, including opening and closing routines. Support catering, banquet events, or special functions by ensuring proper setup, execution, and cleanup. Qualifications Proven experience in food production, cooking, and food handling within a fast-paced hospitality or restaurant setting. Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising experience in a kitchen or food service environment. Strong knowledge of food safety standards, dietary requirements, and sanitation practices. Familiarity with restaurant management systems, shift management, and food industry best practices. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Experience in culinary arts or hospitality management is highly desirable. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
