Job Description
The Dining Room Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Club's dining rooms, ensuring exceptional service standards, efficient operations, and an outstanding member experience. This position serves as a leader on the floor, providing guidance and support to servers, bartenders, hosts, food runners, and bussers while maintaining the high standards of hospitality expected at Cheyenne Country Club. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Service & Member Experience Ensure all members and guests receive exceptional, personalized service. Monitor dining room operations and maintain service standards throughout each shift. Address member concerns and service issues promptly and professionally. Build positive relationships with members and assist in creating a welcoming atmosphere. Maintain visibility on the floor during service periods and lead by example. Staff Leadership & Development Supervise servers, bartenders, hosts, bussers, and food runners during assigned shifts. Assist the F&B Director with training and onboarding new team members. Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback. Ensure staff adhere to club policies, service standards, dress code requirements, and safety procedures. Assist with scheduling and staffing recommendations as directed by the F&B Director. Operational Management Coordinate dining room seating and service flow to maximize efficiency and member satisfaction. Conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate daily specials, events, and operational updates. Ensure proper opening, closing, and side work duties are completed. Monitor cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of dining areas and service stations. Assist with inventory management and supply organization as needed. Oversee F&B operations in the absence of the F&B Director. Event & Banquet Support Assist with planning and execution of tournaments, member events, banquets, weddings, and private functions as needed. Ensure event setups meet Club standards and member expectations. Coordinate service staff assignments for special events. Administrative Responsibilities Assist with labor management and staffing levels. Ensure accurate member charging and POS procedures. Complete shift reports and communicate operational issues to management. Support Food & Beverage management in achieving departmental goals and objectives. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform physical tasks associated with restaurant operations. Schedule Requirements Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
