Job Description
The Marketing Sales Agent is responsible for engaging prospective guests and current owners in face-to-face interactions to promote the vacation ownership experience. This sales-driven role focuses on generating interest, qualifying guests, and securing same-day reservations for sales presentations while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining brand standards. The ideal candidate is energetic, outgoing, competitive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where daily production and guest engagement are key to success. Key Responsibilities Serve as a professional brand ambassador for Travel + Leisure Co. Approach and engage guests at resort locations, events, attractions, and designated marketing areas Build rapport quickly and create positive guest experiences Promote vacation ownership presentations and explain program benefits Qualify guests based on company guidelines and eligibility requirements Secure same-day sales presentation bookings and confirmations Overcome guest objections confidently and professionally Maintain performance goals and production expectations Accurately complete guest information and reservation details Maintain compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards Attend required trainings, meetings, and coaching sessions Maintain a positive attitude in a high-energy, high-rejection sales environment Qualifications Previous sales, marketing, hospitality, retail, customer service, or face-to-face experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable initiating conversations with new people Ability to overcome objections and ask for commitment confidently Competitive mindset with a strong desire to achieve goals Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays Professional appearance and positive attitude Ability to stand and work in high-traffic environments for extended periods Preferred Experience Timeshare or vacation ownership experience Hospitality or tourism background Commission-based sales experience Event marketing or promotional experience Theme park, resort, or concierge experience What Makes a Successful Marketing Sales Agent High energy and enthusiasm Strong closer mentality Resilient under rejection Self-motivated and goal-oriented Confident communicator Ability to create urgency and excitement Adaptable in guest interactions Team-oriented with a positive attitude Compensation & Benefits Hourly pay plus uncapped commission opportunities Weekly earning potential Performance bonuses and incentives Paid training Career growth and advancement opportunities Travel and vacation ownership industry experience Employee discounts and benefits package Work Environment This is a fast-paced, face-to-face sales environment that requires consistent guest interaction, professionalism, and daily performance accountability.
