Job Description - In office position ONLY. TravelBrokers Inc. is hiring an experienced Travel Advisor to join our team in our Homewood, Illinois office. Family-owned and operated since 1988, TravelBrokers is an established travel agency specializing in leisure, luxury, group, corporate, and international travel . We are looking for a knowledgeable, personable, and dependable Travel Advisor who enjoys working directly with clients and wants to be part of an experienced agency team. This is an in-office position in Homewood, Illinois. What You'll Do Consult with clients to understand their travel goals, preferences, and budgets Research and recommend hotels, resorts, cruises, tours, air, transportation, and experiences Create customized travel proposals and itineraries Make and manage travel reservations from inquiry through completion Build strong, long-term client relationships Follow up with clients and suppliers throughout the booking process Provide exceptional client service before, during, and after travel Work with preferred travel suppliers and agency partners Maintain accurate client and booking information Assist with leisure, luxury, group, corporate, and international travel Collaborate with other TravelBrokers team members What We're Looking For Professional travel industry experience is required Strong knowledge of travel products, destinations, and suppliers Excellent communication and customer-service skills Strong sales and relationship-building abilities Highly organized and detail-oriented Comfortable managing multiple client trips at different stages Reliable, professional, and able to work independently Comfortable working in a traditional office environment Strong computer and technology skills Ability to research, problem-solve, and make thoughtful recommendations A genuine interest in travel and helping clients create memorable experiences Preferred Experience Experience with any of the following is a plus: ClientBase
