Sun Travel is looking for a Vacation Travel Advisor to join our team at our Westside El Paso office. For more than 60 years, Sun Travel has been helping travelers explore the world. Family-owned and operated since 1965, we are one of the most established and respected travel agencies in the Southwest. Our advisors enjoy the support of a professional team, industry-leading supplier relationships, ongoing training, and opportunities to travel and experience destinations firsthand. What You'll Do As a Vacation Travel Advisor, you'll help clients create memorable travel experiences by: Planning cruises, tours, all-inclusive vacations, luxury travel, family vacations, honeymoons, and custom itineraries Matching clients with destinations and travel experiences that fit their interests and budgets Building long-term client relationships that generate repeat business and referrals Preparing detailed travel itineraries and travel documentation Responding to client inquiries by phone, email, and in person Staying current on destinations, travel trends, promotions, and supplier products Participating in training, supplier presentations, and industry events What We're Looking For A passion for travel and helping others Strong sales and customer service skills Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Comfortable learning and navigating multiple computer systems Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Self-motivated with a desire to grow a book of business Experience & Qualifications Previous sales, hospitality, customer service, retail, event planning, or travel experience is a plus Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based applications High school diploma or equivalent required College coursework or degree preferred No travel industry experience is required.
