From $3,000.00 per month Job description: Travel Consultant SKYPASS TRAVEL, is a global independent full-service retail and wholesale travel services provider, and headquartered just outside of Dallas, Texas in Las Colinas (Irving) near DFW International Airport. Since 1988, Skypass Travel has specialized in corporate and retail services for individuals, families, and groups worldwide. Since the beginning, our commitment has been to provide the best possible customer service and value. Our extensive portfolio of travel supplier contracts allows us to offer our customers a broad range of travel options and prices not normally found online or on airline websites. We are looking for an experienced Travel Consultant to join our team and become a crucial element in our success.Responsibilities & Duties:
- Make reservations for planned travel, including hotels, airlines, insurance, and any other travel services
- Collaborate with clients to determine their needs and advise them appropriate destination, modes of transportations, travel dates, costs and accommodations
- Follow up with clients about travel plans and make adjustments as needed
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma/GED required
- Degree in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, Business or relevant field preferred
- 2+ years' experience in a corporate or leisure travel agency
- Familiarity with domestic and foreign travel destinations
- Knowledge of Computer reservation systems and Sabre GDS preferred (will train if necessary)
- Strong sales skills and commercial awareness
- Personal travel experience will be considered an advantage
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively
