Average Agent Earnings:
$45,000-$55,000 annually , including base pay, incentives, and bonus opportunities Paid training provided at no cost to you No previous travel-agent experience required Starting pay of $20.00 per hour Three weeks of paid vacation during your first three years Four weeks of paid vacation annually after completing three years of employment Opportunity to increase base pay to $23.00 per hour ($47,840 annually) after successfully completing our paid training program Monthly, quarterly, and annual incentive opportunities Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance 401(k) with company matching Paid sick leave and holidays Airline, cruise, and other travel industry benefits and discounts Continuing travel education and professional development Flexible scheduling options, including 4 days on / 3 days off or a traditional 5-day work week Opportunities for continued growth and advancement within National Travel What You'll Do As a Travel Agent Reservationist, you will help clients coordinate business and government travel while providing knowledgeable, professional customer service.
Responsibilities include:
Assist clients with travel inquiries, reservations, and itinerary changes Arrange air, hotel, rental car, and other travel services Create and maintain accurate travel itineraries Research travel options and identify appropriate solutions based on client needs Coordinate with airlines, hotels, car rental companies, and other travel partners Provide prompt, courteous, and professional service Resolve travel-related questions and issues while maintaining attention to detail Develop your knowledge of travel systems, destinations, policies, and industry practices What We're Looking For We are looking for individuals who are: Professional and dependable Customer-service oriented Comfortable communicating with a wide range of people Detail-oriented and organized Eager and able to learn new technology and computer systems Interested in developing a career in the travel industry Able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment Previous travel-agent experience is not required. A minimum of two years of college education or equivalent experience is preferred. Candidates with degrees or experience in History, Geography, Foreign Languages, International Studies, Software/IT, or government service are especially encouraged to apply.
