At Scottsdale Segway Tours our goal is to set the industry standard for tour operations in Scottsdale; Arizona; and the USA! Our tour guides make a lasting impression on each and every guest. Tour guides will lead small groups of tourists through Old Town Scottsdale on a Segway, Ebike, Or Golfcart! Being a tour guide is an amazing opportunity for the right fit. from our customers! Tour guides are responsible for the following: Setting up the tours before the guests arrive. Greeting the guests as they arrive. Provide safety helmets, headsets, bottled water, and have the guests sign waivers. Training guests how to safely operate the equipment and provide training through our practice course. EXCITING

Tour! Guides will memorize a script of history, restaurants, activities, public art, etc. Other than the script guides have the freedom to make the tour their own! During the tour guides are responsible for managing the safety of the group crossing intersections and through heavy pedestrian areas. Extensive training is provided. Once the tour is complete guides will set up for the next tour and or complete closing responsibilities for the day. What we are looking for in a tour guide: Monday-Friday availability required, weekend availability is also a plus. Must be friendly and outgoing as speaking with the guests is essential. Must be a clear and effective communicator as directing guests on the tour is essential. Tour guide experience is a huge plus, but not required. Customer service experience is required. Ability to comfortably work outside, in the sun, even on hot days is required. Guides should be acclimated to typical Arizona hot and sunny weather. Driving license AND driving experience is required as tours are operated on the street. Tour guides MUST be punctual and accountable. Tours are scheduled on a tight schedule, arriving late to a tour is not an option. Tour guides must be able to lift at least 50 pounds on occasion. Tour guides must have the mobility to ride a Segway & E-Bike for extended periods of time (training provided). Ability to memorize a long script, and must have public speaking ability.
