Job Description

The Environmental Education Exchange (www.eeexchange.org) seeks dynamic, responsible, and engaging Outreach Education Presenters to conduct elementary, middle, and high school programs on topics including water conservation, recycling, energy efficiency, renewable energy, climate change, and bicycle and pedestrian safety. Additional community outreach work at public facing events included, as candidate schedule permits. Pay rates vary based on the number of presentations conducted per day. This is a part-time job.
Requirements include:
  • flexible schedule (approximately 2 to 4+ days a week with variable hours during the school day for classroom presentations and/or evenings and weekends for public outreach events)
  • STRONG communication skills
  • experience working with elementary, middle, and/or high school students preferred
  • drama/theater and/or environmental science background helpful but not required
  • reliable vehicle
  • physical ability to lift and transport about 40 pounds of materials
  • at least a college junior or graduate student during the 2026-2027 school year
  • ability to commit for 2026-2027 school year, with ability to start as soon as possible Interested candidates should respond to this ad with a cover letter and resume or to request additional information.
